| Those who are interested in the developmental works of the village and those who can contribute their time will be chosen to be the members of Village Development Committee. The Village Development Committee in Hosadurga consists of the following representatives: 5 women, 5 men, 1 Nisarga Staff, 1 Gram Panchayath President, 1 Gram Panchayath member. Each family is entitled to take part in the Village Development Committee. | ||

| The committee with the members discusses the issues with the villagers and takes decision on planning and execution of the developmental works. VDC carries out visits to the various departments of the government. It conducts monthly meetings and few Gram Sabha meetings as per the need. VDC avails the facilities to the village that are available from Zilla Panchayath, Taluk Panchayath and Gram Panchayath. | ||
