| Above all it is a place where Christ is least known. To fulfil our mission and to reach out to the target group, we organize Community Based Organizations (CBO) such as women and youth self help groups, Children’s club, and Self Help groups for Disabled, Federations of SHGs, Farmers Groups, Farmers clubs, Joint liability groups, Tank users groups, Watershed committees and Common Interest Groups. With the participatory approach, we together with the people work for the development of the village community, protection and promotion of the environment and ecology. Today our work area is extends to whole of Hosadurga and Holalkere taluks. | ||
The vision of Nisarga is “to live in minority, simplicity and joy, bringing reconciliation, peace and freedom to all. We are called to build up the women, youth, children, land less labourers and small agricultural farmers of the society and strive to build them into a self-confident and courageous people with a better self-image, holistic health, environmental protection and equip them well to face the challenges of life”. |

Above all our main objective is to inculcate the values of Christ in the people where Christ is least known rather not know at all. There are only 8 Catholic families, 31% Muslims, 4% Jains and the rest are Hindus. |
