Training on Soil health and importance of millets wad organized from August 3 and 4 2017. The Resource person Mr. Suresh Patel and the team enlightened the beneficiaries of climate change adaptation project on Soil health and importance of millets. Soil health is for the continued capacity to function as vital living eco systems that sustain plants, animals and humans. Soil health describes the general condition of quality of the soil resource. The CCA Projects encourage the farmers to grow millets which need less water. Pulse crops are one of the most sustainable crops a farmer can grow. Pulses are an important source of plant-based protein for livestock and it also increases soil fertility. Therefore the resource persons stressed on the importance of growing millets. |
